Hauntingly beautiful banjo & vocals that soulfully manifests light and dark (mostly dark). Enjoy "Undertow", Kate Mick's first, full-length album- recorded in 2016.

"...there’s something about this album that’s sort of timeworn and yet timeless. That’s largely down to her lovely vocal style, but it’s more than that: there’s an honesty to the material and an immediacy in the recording itself..." - Lee Real (Real Gone Music Reviews, England)

"Kate's voice is this steady thing, steely in its resolve but warm in its welcome... ." The standout tracks for me were Take Shake and Make Me, You Should Have Seen Me, and Undertow, the latter of which is stunning in its embrace of that forward momentum, ending the record on a note of cautious optimism... I get goosebumps." - Creep Church

"...'Undertow', something that's simple and rough all around its edges, but sincere and unique...
It's dark gothic folk with a soulful bluesy slant."

-Chris Daltry, The Cut-Up music magazine

"Kate is a moving and soulful singer songwriter. Her songs are incredibly deep and powerful
while still catchy and fun."

-Mary Bee of The National Association of Record Industry Professionals

Strangers by Accident www.strangersbyaccident.com Hailing from Boston, Strangers by Accident are an authentic, energetic indie-folk act with an old-school respect for songwriting. Started by Brian Sousa and Amy Wynne in 2015, the duo has since become a powerful live act, adding Justin Bartlett on vocals /electric guitar, and Heidi Crampton on drums. The band’s lyrically-driven songs feature three-part harmonies and veer from suitcase-stomping acoustic, to snare-pounding electric, to minimalist folk. Brian and Amy have stayed true to their influences: Nirvana, The Head and the Heart, Deer Tick, strong beer, and cheap bourbon; but also discovered a unique union of sound in their powerful songs about heartbreak and revival, recently described as “if Keith Richards was drinkin’ Ryan Adams at an Outlaw Honkeytonk.”
